Mo the manager he was excellent so funny and kind he was being very funny and generous he 1000% needs a raise asap he is the kindest person I’ve ever met the food was lovely aswell the place looks lovely

3 for 2 Bad Experience…Birthday Ruined…Cake Butchered…Upset Tummy

I visited Royal Nawaab Pyramid tonight to celebrate my birthday, and sadly the entire experience was a huge disappointment. Despite having a booking, we were seated almost 30 minutes late. Customers are supposedly given a 90-minute dining slot, yet after we’d been seated for barely an hour, we were abruptly told we had only 10 minutes left to finish our food. The whole experience felt rushed, stressful, and completely unfair given the delay was not our fault. My partner had gone to a lot of effort to arrange a beautiful birthday setup at the table. We politely asked staff if they could bring my birthday cake over before we left so we could light the candles, sing happy birthday, and arrange a slice for our guests. We asked for 7 pieces to be cut so some guests could take cake home as we didn’t have time to eat it at the table! What happened next was genuinely upsetting. The cake was completely butchered — crudely cut, squashed into foil, and ruined beyond use. The slices were destroyed and inedible, leaving me with no cake to take home to share with my family. For a birthday celebration, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. To make matters worse, on the way home my partner became extremely unwell and suffered vomiting and diarrhoea, which is deeply concerning after dining here. This was meant to be a special birthday evening and instead it was stressful, rushed, and upsetting from start to finish. A ruined cake, poor time management, and questionable food hygiene have ensured this will be our first and last visit. Over hyped, overpriced, mediocre…Never again!

What a beautiful venue

What a beautiful venue I was treated to a surprise meal by my wonderful Children, for my birthday yesterday. I was very impressed with the decorations, they also had a live singer, who sang some beautiful songs. The staff were very nice and provided an outstanding service, one member of staff brought me some cake with a candle on, he also sang happy birthday to me, the whole experience was wonderful, I would definitely recommend. Thank you everyone at Royal Nawaab 🤲😊

Walking into Royal Nawaab feels like a full experience rather than just a meal. The food is rich in flavor, portions are generous, and the atmosphere adds to the enjoyment. It’s a great place to go when you want something a bit special and satisfying.

Excellent to good

Ambience, staff are excellent. Busy like always. We visit Ilford every 3rd month .. we have noticed change in taste of food which has downgraded from excellent to good.Hope management will look in to this.

Visited royal nawaab pyramid for the first time with family. Booked it 3 weeks in advance for Saturday evening, great decor with plenty of parking on site. Food was OK. Would be nice to add some more menu especially for kids like chicken nuggets etc. food tastes OK no flavours at all. Would not visit the royal Nawaab pyramid again. We prefer the one on stock port road.

Lovely enjoyable evening with the family at the Royal Nawaab. Everyone loved the food, amazing choices and good quality, tasty dishes. One family member is vegetarian and we were so happy she had so much vegetarian food to choose from and enjoy. Staff were very attentive and respectful. Already thinking of another get together at the Royal Nawaab

Extremely Disappointed Perivale- Double Charged and Refused Refund

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. They took two payments from my mother’s card for one order and have refused to issue a refund, even after we provided proof of the duplicate charge. When I called to resolve the issue, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and even called me “stupid.” My mother is elderly, and it feels like they took advantage of her by not correcting their mistake. This situation is completely unacceptable, and we’ll be raising this with our bank and consumer protection authorities for a thorough investigation. Please check your receipts carefully if you decide to order from here.

Royal nawaab portions

I ordered portion of lamb paya, chicken karahi and chapli kebab for take away through uber. The portions were too tiny for the prices charged, not even enough for one person, it was embarrassing to serve my guests. I will never be ordering again. It's disgusting.

I had an excellent dining experience at Royal Nawab in Ilford. The food was superb, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the establishment was maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area

Excellent food, lavish setting, but less comfort and more cost.

The food at Royal Nawab is no different from My Nawab in Manchester, though this venue offers slightly more variety, but only just. The entrance is grand, lavish, and sets high expectations. However, the dining area feels a bit underwhelming in comparison. Compared to My Nawab, I found the tables here shorter and the chairs less comfortable. I’ll admit, the place was busy but so is My Nawab, yet somehow, Royal Nawab felt a bit too hurried and chaotic for my liking. Perhaps it’s the bright lighting that exposes all the hustle and bustle, making the atmosphere feel less relaxed. Truth be told, I’m nitpicking. The food itself was top-notch and you really can’t go wrong in that department. That said, I’d still prefer My Nawab overall. It’s slightly better value for money, more comfortable, and the fact that you can simply walk in without a reservation adds a level of convenience that Royal Nawab sadly lacks. In summary: Excellent food, lavish setting, but less comfort and more cost.

We booked for my son Carls 40th birthday what a lovely restaurant the food was excellent the staff were fantastic they brought him a slice of cake with a candle and all sang happy birthday to him twice lol as some family missed the first time lovely friendly staff great would recommend.
