Pricing needs to be clearer.
The book looks great as advertised. The problem is that pricing is not well spelled out ahead of time. I could find nothing on the site that indicated that I would have to buy a minimum of 10 books, not until I actually went to pay did I know this. Thus I spent multiple hours before finding out that I would have to spend hundreds more than I thought. I had to change it to a paperback in order to make it affordable, which was disappointing. The number of pages increases the cost, understandably so; however, nowhere does it indicate what the cost per pages is. Your pricing should be clearer.

„My intended gift became worthless!“ Sorry for writing this unfriendly comment but I am completely upset with the business behaviour and attitude of this company: 1. No online tracking available! 2. Getting no response at all after 3 mails in 5 days is simply unacceptable. 3. A production time above 7 working days (excluding shipping) different than published too long. 4. Making their customers believe they can get the shipment „latest“ in 7 days (paying premium shipping) the height of cheek. Please take above into consideration when planning to place your order - my intended 80th birthday present became worthless. Thus, my first and for sure last time experience with this shop.

Regarding deliveries there are no guarantees which we try to be as clear as possible about. When we are contacted regarding deliveries we always say "the sooner you order the better because anything can happen along the way". We do not say "the latest" anywhere in our communication: Priority shipping: 2-5 week days. Shipping does not affect the production time which normally is about 2-5 week days. After a little bit of playing the format fairly easy to manage and figure out and the final product was amazing. I was able to create a book of a story I used to tell my daughter when she was a young child, import HenAI images to illustrate and it turned out perfect!

My book looks beautiful. I was especially worried about a photo of text I had to use to maintain the structure of one of my poems, but the photo transferred perfectly and is readable. The quality is so nice.
I keep returning to Solentro
I have written three books for my grandchildren, using Solentro each time for the publication. Their delivery of the product is fast, the books are produced just as you wrote and designed them. I have no more grandchildren, but I shall treasure the time I took to share meaningful stories with my grandchildren. And, when I am gone, I hope they will keep their books as a fond memory.

I can't begin to say enough great things......
I can't begin to say enough great things about Solento! First their customer service is outstanding. Making a book was overwheming to me so I must have e-mailed them almost daily with my qustions. Not only did they get back to me within 12 hours, and never showed annoyance, but their help was easy to understand and follow. The book itself exceded all my expectations. It is top quality in both the materials and the reproduction. Delivered sooner than I expected. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

The retirement book came out looking…
The retirement book came out looking great! It was fun to put together and not expensive. It was easy to reach out for customer support and obtain a response quickly. I highly recommend Solentro.
Overall the software is good
Overall the software is good. I had trouble getting my text to flow from one page to the next when I designed and used my own templates. Also I was unable to order two different books at the same time to consolidate on shipping. My only choice was to order multiple copies of one of the books I created.

Yes, if you want to order several different books you need to place separate orders due to different work flows and printer capabilities and hence we are not able to gather up different orders into one distribution, we are of course working on improving this in the future. Great product and customer service
The book that they published for me exceeded my highest hopes. It was beautifully produced, and as promised, the high quality paper and binding made it really stand out. But one of the corners got dinged in shipping and I let them know. They responded so graciously and quickly it was remarkable. I'd give them 10 stars if I could

The book was missing half of the words or half of the picture. I can’t give that as the gift it was intended to be.

The books you make through Solentro can (and must) always be viewed exactly as they will be printed BEFORE you purchase them, in order to avoid mistakes like these. Since we've been communicating through our customer service I will share our communication. "As you can see in the app, (if you turn the phone into landscape-mode the pages will appear larger) the app looks exactly like the book you have received. The app automatically crops all images depending on the template you have chosen (or the app). You can choose which template works the best for the images you have uploaded. I would suggest the template covering a whole page or almost the whole page. If you want more control of the book making you can log in to Solentro online via a computer and upload your photos there instead, you will be able to decide not to crop the images upon the upload-procedure (which isn't possible in the app since the app is automatically creating a whole photo book for you!). Since this isn't an error on Solentro's behalf we can't refound or reprint the order (because it would look exactly the same) but we want you to have a book that you are proud of and hence feel free to use the code below to get 50% off of your next purchase (either from the app or online). I've just published my fourth book with Solentro. It is so easy to navigate the website. The Solentro team is also very helpful and answers questions promptly. Very satisfied with the finished product.
It was not a fully great experience
The quality of the paper used and the speed of completing my project were very good. The largest gap for my project specifically, was the disparity in color between the images that were loaded, on the screen and the finished book. Colors that were white actually turned out grey and brilliant reds or blues were dull.

Solentro was quick, easy to use. My only hesitation in giving a five that there were some alignment errors with the text when transposed from my program to Solentro.

I ordered the premium hardcover book…
I ordered the premium hardcover book after being extremely disappointed with the premium softcover. Solentro offered me a great discount because of the quality of my first book and the hardcover is the way to go! It's so much nicer but I wouldn't have bought it without the discount. Overall, the quality is great but if you're only wanting one copy, it's very pricey!
Solentro: Easy to use, happy with results
I have made a couple of books with Solentro and been very pleased with how they turned out. It was easy to use Solentro's design system and I could see exactly what I was going to get. And happily, my books arrived just as I expected them to. And delivery was faster than I expected too. This is a great company!
