It is unacceptable that the bung lacks the internal shoulder required to seat the sensor and form a proper seal, allowing the sensor to fall straight through the opening. The smoke originates from crankcase blow-by vapors fed back into the intake. Check for pinched hoses and confirm the internal separator is fitted properly.
