bizarre no heads up about the bank account hold
I've changed my review to stay fair. First of all, the full sum gets taken. Without any prompting or warning. There is no second charge that happens right after. However, the charge does happen eventually, it just takes many hours and it supplants the previous "hold". I've asked around, the explanation makes no sense if you're trying to understand this system. AI for one was sure that the sum is gone despite how well I tried to explain.

One is a temporary authorization (hold); this is not a charge and you do not pay this amount. 1. It is simply a pre-authorization, which is standard for many other types of purchases on your credit card (think hotels, gasoline, etc.). 2. The other is the first installment charge. 1. Each month after, your installment payment is automatically charged until your plan is complete. Splitit installment plans work using your available credit card balance. Easy way to spread payments
There wasn’t any problems at all. The process was explained before hand. It was quick and no messing about. The first payment was taken on the given day and I know when I have to pay the next one.
