Very easy to sign up. However, filing and trying to get what you were told to do through one of their companies (Trawick) has been a horrible and disappointing experience. We really have no faith in the travel insurance business. We went through Squaremouth Compliance which got us no where.
Policy I purchased had all the basic elements I needed and application process easy and fast. Had to call to verify about pre-existing condition and agent was very helpful and clear with the explanation
This was the easiest and best process because it let you filter exactly what was important to you to be covered and it kept updating those quotes. Also the documentation that was provided leaves no confusion and is very clear so everything about this process from start to finish was amazing.

I had a quote July 1st from another travel insurance company. My upcoming trip was now 10 days away, so time to buy my travel insurance. After only one month the price was now double the July quote. Wow, they had no explanation other than prices have gone up. No increased risk factors were mentioned. I remembered using Squaremouth once before, and so returned to the website for another set of quotes. They came through with a quote from Seven Corners that had better coverage and was less expensive than the July quote I had been counting on. I purchase the new travel insurance the same day.
