Potential Scam and poor service
This service looks like a scam for certain emergencies. We have been in a forth and back with this company, since July 2021 and their partner Protegetuviaje.com, about a bunch of bills to pay, due to a medical emergency, and they keep telling us the same message. Just delaying the case. We have visited two of the physical addresses (Panama & Miami) where they have referred the hospital and other providers to, for sending the invoices, and they do not exist or are different businesses. The client services staff are well trained on just avoiding and giving the same misleading response. In total it was just a $6k bill and they have not paid yet.

I don't know any about this company but I'm talking about the website the website these people they give me hard time and the funny thing after the canceled my trip after I payed extra $400 ,none of them answer me when I called them. They wanna cancel my review because they don't like it because I told you that this people is a library that because I don't give any specific time they want cancel my review because they don't like my review ,people dint trust me these people sponsor of lawyer I'm not talking about this specific company maybe this company maybe another one but I'm talking about this website this website gives me Agent his name Gerard he never answered me and he after when I go to Egypt when I back my trip council and he never answered me so specifically they take more money and they don't gives me what I want

This insurance is a scam. Stay away!
In June 2021, my mom contracted Covid-19 during a trip, which was supposed to be covered by this insurance (in the insurance certificate, they write "Medical attention due to Covid: $30.000,00").
Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and CT scans and a medical evaluation revealed that it was necessary to hospitalize her immediately. Despite the severity of her condition, it was impossible to get a timely answer from the insurance company, as they insist on communicating only via WhatsApp and they always say that the case has to be evaluated by the claims department first. In the end, we had to find other means to be able to hospitalize my mom, because this company never provided any answer. If we had waited for their answer, she could have died.
Now we are trying to get a refund of the incurred costs of the examinations and hospitalization, since they claim that the coverage is USD 30000. What they don't tell you (and you will only see in small print after you sign the contract) is that there are some arbitrary limits for each category: turns out that the limit for hospitalization is only 1% of the "total coverage", so actually they only cover 300 USD for hospitalization!
These are some of their other limits:
- Outpatient medical attention: 0.5% of "total coverage" (150 USD)
- Emergencies: 1% of "total coverage" (300 USD)
- Lab tests: 0.5% of "total coverage" (150 USD)
- Hospitalization: 1% (300 USD)
- Sanitary repatriation: 3% (900 USD)
- Funeral repatriation: 3% (900 USD)
Oh, and that does not even sum 100%! This is a JOKE!
This insurance is a FRAUD, and all of those positive reviews are from bots. This company will run away with your money. It is better to get travel insurance with a reputable company, even if it is more expensive. Stay away from this!

Traveler insurance scam
My uncle and his wife contracted their services before arriving in the U.S. Unfortunately, my aunt developed a heart attack during her stay, and it has been since December 2020, they have not paid the hospital. Currently, the hospital bill is under collection, and TAS has not responded to the hospital. They only communicate through Whatsapp, and their response is always that the case is under review.
