I booked via tour for my Columbia trip
I booked via tour for my Columbia trip. Had to pick up from Cartagena airport to my hotel. The local operators were great via tour sucked. However, I would never use Viator again. I would go directly for the local operator. They make it impossible to give you a refund when they made a mistake. They really sucked. They’re absolutely horrible company and should be ashamed of themselves. You’re going to regret it if you book through them.
Beautiful waterfalls
The day was well planned out and we kept on schedule therefore we had a successful day. We started our fun day with a short stop to swim at the Llanos de Cortes waterfall, made our way to wildlife sanctuary where we saw 2 kinds of 🦥 sloths, blue jean dart frogs, beautiful blue morpho butterflies 🦋, etc etc. Had an absolutely great guide, Alex, at the sanctuary! Had a good lunch, then went to the Parque national volcan park to walk the hike to see the Rio Celeste waterfall. Ok... know before you go..... it's quite a hike and it has many many steps but it is very much worth it. The water was not the bread yet blue shown in the pictures but that does all depend on the rains and the weather.

We travel out of country every other year and have been using Viator on almost every trip. Have always had wonderful experiences at fair prices and the descriptions have been spot on. Highly recommended!
Scalpers
Scalpers. They buy up tickets for museums so they appear sold out and then charge you extortionately high prices. An example of this is charging over €50 for the Van Gogh Museum when tickets at the door are only €25 with audio guides costing €3.75 forcing you to have no option on a whim than to pay almost double the price. Not very ethical. They then have the audacity to send you a standard prices ticket.

booked an Aquila safari tour on viator, on the page, it shows clearly it is including the entry fee of Aquila and only tips and meals excluding, but when i received the confirmation and checked again, i saw it says entry fee excluded at the tail of the title. i contacted the supplier, he never replied about the mistake at the "what is included" zone, and he started to talk about how much he got paid by viator, and how much is the cost on the way. at the end, he asked me to cancel from my side. but when i found viator, the supplier said he already booked the tickets and no proof provided, viator still sent me a message and told me they wont refund. totally scam, dont book from them ！

Buyer beware! We booked a sunset Cape Sounion tour only to be stood up. Viator was completely unhelpful and since we only had one night in Athens we missed the chance to go. Hugely disappointing.

Charged three times the face value of the Eiffel tower ticket price and got absolutely nothing to justify that. A worthless experience and then they refused to make it right
