I've had this machine for a couple weeks now and it is super easy to use. I am not tech savvy at all and am still easily able to create fun designs for my Etsy shop I just started! There are several super helpful videos on design on the xTool website (and on youtube) that were helpful to get my ideas started :) So far I've mainly been cutting and printing on basswood, but I'm planning to purchase a material bundle to really get the most out of the machine.
As of today I have 6 xTool Lasers and I have only had one problem with one of the and they replaced it fast. All the laser I have do great jobs for what each one is designed for. They are built sturdy and will last a long time if well maintained. I do a lot of wood and slate work with the ones I have and my newest one I'll be doing a lot of crystal and metal work. XTool is the only laser I'll buy, I find them very reliable.
Price- Super expensive, when you get down to it and own the machine you realize how much more limited you actually are regardless of the stated usages. Fun machines to work with but way too expensive for the results. Do tons of research on the machine before you actually purchase.
I have 3 Xtool machines: apparel, F2 ultra, m2, Omni1 has been ordered I like your approach creating a machine and software. I wish you will create a DRG printer something like Epson f2270 and Brother GTX300 Waiting a new desktop laser with rf tube.
I come from the 3d printing world, where I bought lower end machines and tinkered with them to get them dialed in. This was my 1st laser and I didnt want to deal with that so I spung for an X-Tool M2 as my 1st laser with the hopes that I could pull it out of the box and it would just work. And it did not disappoint. Easy set up , easy to use, great results.
I have the S1 Ultra, the M1 Ultra and the DTF All in One Printer. Well 2 of out of 3 machines has caused me HELL since they got delivered last week in June 2026. Let’s start with the M1 Utra I got it specifically to print and hot foil mainly on card stock or pu leather! I HAVE NOT SUCCESSFULLY HOT FOIL ON ANY LEATHER BLANKS they all got ruined! Since Xtool decided to upgrade or as I put it downgrade there system presets for this material is not readily available, so I’ve been pulling settings out of my ass which is costing me money on the waste materials! The software is NOT USER FRIENDLY so I am still not able to pull settings in from Atomm. Xtool customer service told me that my resolution to this problem is to PAY an “expert “ to teach me. 😳🤯 Reluctantly I booked a session, well between Xtool or the expert, they rescheduled my training from Friday to Tuesday AND THE “expert” DID NOT SHOW UP! No link was sent for the training No follow up email so I cancelled at the end of day Tuesday! BS NOW for the All in One DTF Printer which got delivered June 30.26. Since it came all the film is CRINKLY AND CRACKLY AND JAMMING! All the material that came with the machine was depleted in the same week trying to troubleshoot this issue! Great! Now I have to buy ink…. Waited 2 weeks for delivery! Then my nightmare began again 07/25/26 MORE CRINKLE,CRACKLE JAM! I submitted a ticket and their reck sent me the same OLD STUPID troubleshooting videos on the website. The hardware and software changed from the video so Not user friendly! While’s that would be enough to drive anyone crazy My SN is NOT FOUND SO I CANNOT ADD MY EXTENDED WARRANTY TO MY CARE ($699) sweet! It’s a week since my ticket was opened technically my 2nd week trying to use this shit and the PROBLEM IS STILL THERE! Xtool OFFERED ME A (1) BOTTLE OF WHITE INK FOR MY INCONVENIENCE!!!! This is a damn joke! For all the loss of revenue to my business for not being able to complete any of my orders to my customers, loss ink and film, my time wasted and frustration THEY WANNA GIVE ME $40 BOTTLE OF INK! And an F off email saying I CANNOT RETURN ITS BEEN 30 DAYS. TODAY IS IS DAY 31!!!!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO INVEST IN! We’ve spent more than 20k in this company for them to spot in our face! As I type there’s No resolution to my crinkle, crackle jam problem. We’ve strip the machine down to its bare minimum and found that the OVEN TRACK IS NOT ALWAYS ACCEPTING THE FILM FROM THE SHAKER TRACK! And IT says I should adjust the ball bearings WHAT A GENIUS!!! That’s all we been doing all week! The misalignment happens at the entry of the oven NOT THE SHAKER! Well I see if this will reach anyone smarter than dweedle in the IT room! While’s he’s getting paid to sit in the a/c room I’m on my knees taking 2 mil videos and troubleshooting per day to No resolution! I AM OVER THIS SHIT!!!!!!

I have both the S1 40W and the IR I believe 2w and the M2 10W and ink printer unit. We got the S1 first to elevate the branding on our whipped tallow containers (engrave cork) and have since branched out and are making tons of slate engraved items, wooden Christmas ornaments, product displays for items etc. We have not used the IR much. Tried it on a belt buckle but the engraving didn’t survive the forge. We didn’t really expect it to but wanted to try. It did do a nice job engraving the curved blank; so it does well with normal usage. We added the M2 as I wanted to change our soap packaging. I use muslin bags and print directly on them. I’m honestly very impressed with the M2 for the money. I didn’t think it would be able to quality the S1 provides engraving the slate but I was happily mistaken, it is a little slower but does a fantastic job. I’ve used it to cut paper and wood as well. I prefer the S1 with the honeycomb for the wood but the M2 doesn’t disappoint just has more staining / smoke marks without the honeycomb comb. It comes with little plastic risers but I don’t find them very useful. Overall very impressed with both machines and probably purchasing on of the CO2 in the near future and something more specific for metal after that. My only reason for decreasing to four stars rather than five as I have found the software not super user-friendly that being said, I’m definitely not up-to-date on all the computer stuff. We are going to upgrade the actual computer and see if that doesn’t fix some of the lagging issues. I wish they had more videos on “this is how you…” you can find some on YouTube but it takes digging sometimes. They might have these videos and I just haven’t found them easily. I also wish the tutorials were easier to find again. We just got the M2 and it had three different tutorial options. I selected one and at the end of it the other two were gone. It would’ve been nice to have the option do all three just to make sure I truly understood how that particular machine worked. I know there’s a lot of projects and Attom. It would be nice if either there or somewhere in their own software, there were tutorials with video how to, not just very brief written instructions.
I just purchased my second xTool laser engraver, the F2 Ultra UV, and couldn't be happier. I had already done my own research through Google and YouTube and had decided this was the brand and laser I wanted. The purchase process was easy and straightforward. I have had my S1 for about 2 years now and am happy to say that I have never had to contact support. My next purchase will be the AP2 because I plan to use the F2 Ultra UV at craft fairs.
I recently purchased an XTool bundle from their website. I had a bit of trouble when trying to order, but that was sorted by their chat. Once I received my XTool, I had trouble with the machine itself. Support walked me through several tests and concluded that the issue was a bad cable. They sent me a new cable and the machine works perfectly now. When I asked for wood to replace what was used in testing the machine, they mailed me 4 new pieces instead of the one I requested. I am happy with their service and would recommend the XTool M2 product to others because of this excellent service.
I was impressed by the company's advertising. Their website and videos constantly tell you how amazing their products are- the quality, the innovation, and why you should buy from them. What they don't tell you is the most important piece of information: **when you will actually receive your order.** There is no clear warning before you pay that your order could take months to arrive. Only after placing my order did I discover that I could be waiting over two months, with customer service suggesting it could even be longer. To make matters worse, I was also informed that **not all items in an order are shipped together.** This means you could receive part of your order first and then wait several more weeks—or even months—for the remaining items. In reality, it could take **three or four months** before your entire order is complete. When I contacted customer service, I expected honest and straightforward answers. Instead, I received repeated apologies and vague responses. Even after speaking with a manager, nobody could give me a guaranteed dispatch or delivery date. In my opinion, this is not the level of transparency customers deserve. If a company knows that orders may take months to fulfil and may be shipped in multiple batches, this information should be made clear **before customers place an order**, not after payment has been taken. I cancelled my order because I lost confidence in the company. I am sharing my experience so that other potential customers can make an informed decision. Before spending your money, ask for the expected delivery timeframe for **every item** in your order and whether everything will be shipped together. Don't assume that what you buy today will arrive within a reasonable time simply because the company doesn't mention any delays.
Dear MT Tokman, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are truly sorry for the frustration this has caused. We have reviewed your case (Ticket #1125579) in detail and have provided a full explanation, including the current fulfillment schedule and the reasons for the delay. As mentioned in our correspondence, we have also processed a full refund as per your request. We understand your disappointment and regret that we were unable to meet your expectations. Your feedback is valuable and will help us improve our communication and transparency in the future. We wish you all the best and hope you find a solution that better suits your needs.
Kathy was so pleasant. She made the process of changing my order easy and enjoyable. She was patient and courteous. Top notch customer service!!!
Very please with the feedback from my support team. Reply was quick and helpful. Thank you Xtool.
I recently purchased an F1 Ultra, and the unit arrived promptly and exceptionally well packaged. The unboxing experience and first‑time setup were smooth and user‑friendly. I later realized I had ordered the wrong filtering unit, which wasn’t compatible with my machine. Xtool’s customer service responded quickly and offered a hassle‑free return with reimbursement or the option to purchase the correct model. Their support was truly first‑class—efficient, friendly, and solution‑oriented. This experience gives me great confidence in the brand, and I look forward to purchasing additional units and continuing to invest in the Xtool ecosystem.
The printer when it works is very very good. However, I have had the printer for 3 months in total with supplys I have spent the best part of £13,000-£15,000 and i have had no end of problems. The aftercare support is a first class joke. You report a problem and they may respond within the week. They then invite you to join there discord group where you could spend the best part of 6-8hrs solving a problem only to be told it needs cleaning. They send videos and it doesn't solve the problem. They don't have respect for the fact you have spent this hugh amount of money. 3 months and i have recently lost 2days of no work because the xtool apparel printer isn't printing. Because it's clogged again. Don't waste your time or your money unless you have endless pots of cash. Adding on to my review from 21/7/2026 🚫 Thinking of buying an “omni printer”? Read this first. It’s an ambitious idea, but the reality is there other machinery are full of unresolved problems. Before spending your money, ask yourself the questions below — because these are the things influencers don’t mention. 1. Consumable Costs How much do the individual supplies cost? Resin, powder, printheads, filters — they add up fast, and many brands hide pricing until after purchase. 2. Air Purifier Requirements Do you need an air purifier? If yes, what’s the additional cost? And how often do the filters need replacing? 3. Third‑Party Availability Can you buy consumables on Amazon, or are you locked into their ecosystem and pricing? 4. Filter Replacement Costs If a purifier is required, how frequently do filters need changing, and what does each one cost? 5. Oven Requirements Does the printer require an external oven for curing? If so, that’s another major expense. 6. Printhead Quantity & Lifespan How many printheads does it use? How often do they need replacing? What’s the cost per head? 7. Aftercare Support How strong is their support system? Are issues actually resolved, or just acknowledged? 8. Response Times & Business Impact How easy are they to reach when something goes wrong? Right now, it can take days — sometimes weeks — to get help. If you’re running a business, expect downtime and lost income. Will they compensate you? Highly unlikely. 9. Discord “Support” Reality Their Discord group isn’t faster support — it’s a way to reduce official support tickets. You’ll still end up sending photos, videos, and waiting. --- ⚠️ Bottom Line The concept is exciting, but the current machines have many unresolved issues, and instead of fixing them, the company keeps releasing new models. Influencers print one object and rave about it — but long‑term users tell a very different story. Save yourself the stress. Do your research. Watch YouTube reviews from people who’ve owned the machine for months, not sponsored creators who print a single demo piece. Update 23/07/2026 After several emails back and forth — including a confirmation invoice from the reseller — they’ve now asked me to “confirm my address.” I find that odd. When I spent £4,400 on the printer, £2,500 on the oven, £1,000 on the air purifier, plus countless supply orders, no one has ever asked for address confirmation. It’s starting to feel like stalling tactics rather than genuine progress. Like I have stated before- high ticket price items with £100 aftersales support system. 4/08/2026 update I recieved my printhead yesterday the 3/08/2026. Because i couldn't wait the 5-7 days the originally advised time to recieve a replacement), which turned out to be over two weeks)purchased one a further £974. Since the 25th of july the software has been playing up. It was out for nearly 4 days. Since then i am lucky if i get a full day printing. When you email the resller they say xtool said it has a bug uninstall.and re-install. If you have money to waste and time on your hands purchase this product. If not honestly dont waste your time.

Today, we have arranged a replacement print head for you as a solution. Please stay in touch with our team, and we will continue to follow up until the issue is fully resolved. was new to the xtool equipment and did a silly thing and broke my 10w laser and a lady called Rebecca helped me through the process and in the end i was supplied with a new free laser the whole experience went very smooth and quickly thank you Rebecca
The support was friendly and they handled the situation well . There was a little miscommunication but they handled it very well and fast . Couldn’t be any happier
I am a big XTool fan and own multiple of their machines. While some of the machines are not perfect when they just come out XTool listens and works hard to improve it.
I have the xTool S1 with both the 20W diode laser and the 2W IR laser. My favorite project is the engraved bar necklace, it's an astoundingly quick and easy-to-make personalized gift that people love. The xTool S1 is totally worth it and easy to learn. I've made ornaments, earrings, tumblers, jewelry, keychains, and leather projects with it. I was amazed at how easy it was to create stunning gifts with this laser. Safety was my top selection criteria, and xTool delivered with the all-in-one SafetyPro package. It includes a fully enclosed machine, an automatic fire suppression system, and the SafetyPro AP2 Air Purifier. The fire suppression system gives me peace of mind, it will quickly extinguish a fire if something flames up while I'm working. The AP2 Air Purifier removes most of the fumes, so I could technically work indoors without venting outside. I still vent outside anyway, but it's good to know I don't have to. Bottom line: The xTool S1 is the safest laser on the market for home use, and that alone makes it worth the price. If you want to make professional-quality gifts without turning your garage into a fire hazard, buy this machine.
You have good equipment, but the purchasing process is terrible. I paid for a machine on June 3rd. First, they charge you the cost of the machine, then weeks later they charge the taxes, and later the shipping fee. Even after one month, the machine has not left its origin. You buy a machine from them and they send you to three different platforms: Kickstarter and PledgeBox. The service is terrible.
Dear Gisela, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are sorry for the confusion regarding the purchasing process. We have reviewed your case (Ticket #1098865). Our support team has already provided a detailed explanation regarding the shipping fees and taxes. As a crowdfunding project, tax and shipping costs are collected separately after the campaign based on your location, as clearly stated in the reward description. If you qualify for a tax exemption, please contact us to provide the necessary documentation. You will need to complete the tax exemption application and review before the crowdfunding survey ends, and we will process the tax refund thereafter. Regarding delivery, shipments are expected to begin around the end of July. Since your Backer number is #9918 and you placed your order on June 24, your shipment is estimated to be scheduled around late August, based on the order sequence. We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out.
