I didn't want to have to purchase a new program. Zinstall brought it across with no problems. Also brought all my other files, shortcuts, even websites. I installed through my internet. It took several hours to complete, worth every minute! Great program.
Everything I needed to transfer over to my new computer came over smoothly, even a couple of really old programs came over without a problem. I needed to fine tune a few settings, but overall, it worked like they promised. I am not a computer guy, and it took little assistance on my part to get it going and to transfer everything. I was very pleased with its performance and have already told my friends about it.
I chose Zinstall since it had much better Trustpilot ratings than competitors. That’s because when the software runs without any problems, it’s good. However, heaven help you if you need technical support. In more than 40 years of computer use, Zinstall was clearly the worst service I’ve ever encountered. Read the other 1-star reviews. I used zintall to move from an older Windows 11 PC to a new one. I was able to move some of my Outlook settings correctly. It completely messed up my file system, thinking everything was on OneDrive (that I do not use for backup). Many contacts with Microsoft went nowhere. All the library settings were not correct. Many of my Windows settings were not correct. The fix lost data.
This Product was great. I am a true novice when it comes to computers. I purchased this product and transferred my old computer programs and files without spending money on a computer tech. No problems and it worked great.
The migration of my older Windows 10 PC to a new Windows 11 PC using ZInstall could not have gone better to be honest. I left the migration running overnight and when I checked in the next morning, almost everything had just copied over and was available - even the taskbar had the correct icons in the correct place, and all apps seemed not only to be installed correctly but also configured correctly. I was thrilled to bits. I'd been dreading the migration expecting a lot of manual intervention to be required, but it was not - 99.9% of everything just migrated without issue - about the only thing I needed to do was enter a license key for one piece of software. All other settings of that software - and I'd changed a great number from their defaults - migrated successfully. Hardly any other interventions were required. The new Windows 11 PC is now up and running (the old is retired) and Zinstall can consider me one delighted customer. About a week after the migration they contacted me to see how it'd all gone and I told them what I've told you above, and offered them the opportunity to use my words in their advertising. They said they couldn't do that directly but pointed me to their Trustpilot page, which is why I'm posting here. In short they made a potentially lengthy and difficult task extremely simple and quick.
I'm 77 years old. I purchased Zinstall and paid to have them do the transfer because of my age. They started the transfer, ran into some problem, told me to shut down my computers for two days while they worked it out. Stupid me, I did that and now I think it was just to be sure they got my money from Amex because I never heard from theme again and they will not answer emails. And during the time they were working on the transfer they totally screwed up my new computer to the point I had to reload Win 11 and start from scratch. Do not use it to transfer from Win 10 to 11. What little got transferred made my 11 computer think it was still Win 10. This happened about September 9, 2025.
It was a very easy transfer from my old windows 10 to my new windows 11 . Pre transfer precautions where very easy to follow and it worked better then expected.
Worked as advertised. Disabled anti-virus software on both computers, ran software as instructed. New computer looked just like old one.
Needed something more robust to transfer applications to a new computer. I purchased a one-time use of Zinstall and it worked! I saw another review which said it's nice to know a company delivers what it promises. We all know that's not always the case. Fairly easy to use, with expert tips while setting it up.

This software was very intuitive to use. Once I got rid of the bloatware on the new computer, everything transferred over no problem. I used this to set up a new computer for a friend, and will be utilizing WinWin in the future as I set up some other computers I have in the pipeline.
Horrible Support I bought the software and remote service. They sent me a list of dates available but no way to schedule. Support lines are always busy, chat said they would look into it, called sales because sales always responds and they said they would look into it, I have been trying to contact them and since yesterday afternoon (Sept 4) until today (4:30 pm) not a single contact from them. I wanted remote because I thought it would be better for me in terms of time. That, of course, is now pretty much a joke. I am going to do the transfer myself and ask for a refund for the remote service. Software may be good but the company leaves a lot to be desired.

Did not move everything and what it did move was not right. Only about half of the files and drivers. Windows then did not work correct and the only way of fixing this was to reset the computer and start all over and install everything one by one. Support none to be had and now been almost 1 month and still have not been able to get a response to my emails for a refund.
I purchased the Zinstall program. .Was following instructions, everything was going smoothing. I hit a roadblock and contacted the support team. These guys/gals were experts in their field . Found the problem and I was running again. All files, data, programs and various other papers, photos etc were transferred smoothly. It is nice to know that there are still companies that do what they say. Btw, I am 78 yrs Old and they made it easy for me to understand. Thanks again Zinstall
This is good software and I'm someone who spent a long time in IT doing backups and restores. It may take a long time because my new laptop does not have an ethernet connection so I had to do it WIFI. It may be pricey but it worked perfectly. I recommend it.
