unforeseen heay duty imposed on goods.
I happily bought a pair of childrens shoes, carefully checkng out that it appeared to be an EU (uk) webside as well as checking reviews here on trust pilot. The pair of shoes wa s DKK183 and the shipment DKK126. I recieved the shoes fine allthough it was a suprice that the shoes were sent directly from China. As a consequence I was charged additional DKK218 in cost and import tax; the major part of this is DKK in agent handling cost of the tax. The tax was charged 2 weeks after the purchase with no previous notice and returns were thus not possible. On the jjshouse homepage you can find information that additional tax may apply. I complained about the tax and was offered a DKK40 voucher at next purchase. However, In conclusion - I ended up paying fees at higher cost than the value of the product. I had no idea whatsoever on the possible amount upon time of purchase. And as for the product - the quality could certainly be improved. I can really not recommend any internet purchase from this site. update: After this review I got a message from jjshouse that they were very sorry about my unfortunate experience and offered me a discount on my next purchase. After some correspondance and a few telephone calls they offered a total refund of my unexpected costs provided that I remove my poor rating here on trust pilot. I have upgraded my rating as I truely believe that they care about customers and reputation and has offred means of compensations. However, this does not change the fact that when buying from Europe you will get an additonal cost imposed that you do not know the size of when buying. In my case it was +100%. I do not appreciate that a compensation is provided that you remove your honest review
