topdon one lite , worst diagnostic device we've ever used
Recently purchased a topdon one lite to use whilst our autel was away for a repair. This tool just doesnt cut it for anyone who works on cars daily, basically just junk, maybe suited to a novice /members of the general public who dont really know any better, although still seriousley lacking for hobby use at best, which its way over priced for. Our old snapon machine that was last updated in 2009 out performs this on every level, this tool was bought just for general day to day use of mainly reading codes only. We wernt asking it to perform any dealer level special functions, we have an up to date autel for that. Its just clunky and far to slow, even if you can get it to connect via car brand,, which it failed multiple times with us on multiple vehicles, take this away and its just a generic over priced EOBD/OBD reader with a fancy screen and doesnt belong in a proffesional setting, had it not been able to be returned id of just thrown it into the bin. Needless to say it was returned within 4 days for a full refund.
