Delivery van damaged my garage
At the end of September we had a delivery from Sainsbury's. The delivery van backed into our garage causing damage to guttering, slates and woodwork leaving the structure in a dangerous condition with loose slates near the entrance door and cascades of water from broken guttering where one walks. The driver must have noticed but left without saying anything. I have spoken to a Sainsbury person and also their insurers but absolutely nothing has happened. The management person did say they were taking this seriously, but then referred to the damage to my vehicle - an indication of a total lack of real interest or understanding. For a customer facing business in a very competitive business sector this is extraordinarily damaging reputation ruining behaviour.
