CHINESE RIP-OFF COMPANY: DO NOT USE
A month ago I bought an item of clothing from Lightinthebox. Horrid. But when I went to return it they said I had to post it to China (!!!) and I was better off keeping it and they would give me 15% of the item cost. £3! Then recently I ordered a jacket for a June wedding from Miniinthebox not realising they are an offshoot of Lightinthebox. How stupid am I. I received the jacket today and it is tiny despite me ordering my usual size. Their customer services say the cost of posting it back to …..China…is so expensive that I would be better giving it to a friend (!!!) and taking their offer of 20% off a new one. Can you imagine Amazon or a British company getting away with this. They said they modelled their clothes on Chinese people so the sizing is small. How are we meant to know this? All the models on the website are white western. NOT Chinese
