eManualOnline

This company is a scam

Tried to download a manual for my car. Price should be €37.99. But there are hidden costs they only show you after you've paid so in the end I paid €42.98. Then you need to download a humongous file of 22GB!!! To make this humongous file work you'll need an app. but to be fair this is stated on the page of the specific manual, of course in smallprint. But what they don't state is that their servers are something from the middle ages so it takes an incredible time to download and you'll probably end up the download failing and paying €42,98 for nothing. So contacted the customerservice. To be honest, they replied quickly and sent me a downloadlink via dropbox. Now I never ever had any problems downloading files with dropbox but with this company of course i did. I could save it to dropbox by logging in to my acount which I couldn't as I just got the endless running square trying to connect. Downloading the file did work but stops at 99% leaving you with nothing. Contacting the customer has no use anymore, they just don't respond anymore. the joke is, they warn you about this in their Q&A telling you that you should use google chrome, Firefox of Safari which is utter bull.... Just buy decend servers so you'll get download speeds that are of 2026 not 1995. Whatever! I ended up paying €42,98 for nothing that I can't write off as learning experience because you'll know companies like this have enough tricks up theirs sleeves to not refund you. But surprise me, and I'll change my review
