High Value HiFi for everyone
This was a big opportunity for me to own a moving coil cartridge with a high-end cantilever at a reasonable price. This is it for me. I will never look beyond this cartridge, it is the summit of my search for wide sound stage and stereo imaging. There may be others, but the Le Son SL1 MKII is the point where I get maximum performance for my money, I have it installed on my Thorens TD146, with a MoFi Studiophono preamp, 2 KEF 303 and 2 Celestion Ditton 4-4-2. I haven't reached the cartridge's full break-in period yet and I am already enamoured with my listening experience with the SL1 MKII. I appreciate the defined output: the lows are warm and well contained, the highs are crisp, not shrill, the mids are directional and clear. This is a wonderful experience, Thank you Le Son!
