The Fieldhouse - Solihull - inedible food
The Fieldhouse - Solihull Probably one of the most disgusting meals I have had in a long time. I ordered sirloin steak at £18.50. The serrated steak knife would not cut the meat so chewing it was virtually impossible. My friend ordered the same and her's wasn't quite as bad but we both left at least half of the meat. The dish came with a grilled flat mushroom. I put one piece in my mouth and had to spit it out. It tasted like TCP. I don't know whether it had been cooked on a rancid grill but it was truly awful. The onion rings were not rings - they were small straight pieces that looked as if they had been scooped up out of the bottom of the fryer as they were super greasy. The best thing was the grilled tomato. We complained to the waitress who said sorry!
