Fanxiang 4TB SSDs S101 and S101Q
I purchased three of 4 disk of 4TB SSDs, and unfortunately, they turned out to be completely unreliable for long-term or continuous use. After running diagnostics (SMART reports), I discovered severe hardware degradation at the chip level: massive programming and erase failures, and a huge number of internal reserved blocks already exhausted to compensate for dead sectors. Under normal workloads, they start throwing I/O timeout errors, freezing completely, and dropping offline. While they might seem affordable initially, they are not stable enough for a reliable storage setup. I had to return them. If you are looking for reliable storage, especially for heavier or continuous workloads, I cannot recommend this model.
