Antelife

Antelife.com and a few good reasons why you should never buy your stuff on this webshop

The heap of problems all started with buying an Elephone p3000s via Antelife's Chinese webshop. The moment i ordered the phone it was still available in China for the amazing price of around €177. I immediatly created an account but in the rush i gave in a wrong e-mail address. My own fault of course so i've send an e-mail towards Antelife's helpdesk (a simple g-mail address) with the request to recover my account. I gave them all my personal details like shipping address, name, phone number, and so on... But they didn't seem to be able to recover my account. How is this possible? They needed the order# they said, but i was unable to give them this number since i couldn't login to the account... Suddenly i realised i'd forgotten to put a number in my e-mail address so i tryied to log in without that number and yes, succes, Oouf! At least now, i could follow-up my order. I also noticed after ordering that they've sold me a first batch (older model) (i should have looked better, i know... ;-) ) of the p3000s, without NFC. (Not really a problem for me since i don't really needed the NFC) After 3days my order status still stood on processing so i asked Antelife if there was an issue with my order. They said the phone was out of stock in China but that it was still available in their warehouse in Germany. (And indeed, now they've changed the status on their online store from “available” to “out of stock”) When you buy the phone on their German webshop the phone costs around €200. They said they would be so kind to offer me a discount of €5 but that i still would have to cover for extra expenses of almost €20! In my opinion that's real crappy customer service, they should ship it for the same price as was advertised on their Chinese webshop since it was available at the moment i ordered it. (else i could've bought it on another chinese webshop) Thereby the elephone seemed less interesting to me and so they proposed me to buy another phone... After a long tug of war i considered buying the Xiaomi Mi4i thus paying an extra fee of €46! Total spend at this time: around €230... I asked them to ship it as a gift but they refused to do so. Result, an extra tax fee of €26 and a grand total of €255 when i only planned to spend €177! Finally the shippement took 2-3 weeks. But i guess that's quite normal. Summary: If you want to buy your stuff on this webshop, go ahaid! I will never buy from it again!
