Hainan Airlines are like the Ryan Air of Asia - Cheap and you get what you pay for which is not a lot on your flight. I was allowed 1 x 300ml of beer for the 10 hours 50 minute flight. The reason was the flight attendant told me "If I had any more than that I would be drunk" For the entire flight the service was terrible, meals that where in the flight menu where not available and as I said earlier 1 drink was offered for a nearly 11 hour flight. If you fly with Hainan Airlines - take your own food and drink.
