Paid for 5 licences, unable to use all of them
I purchased Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2016 for 5 users from Livecards. I only used part of the activations. When problems arose with the remaining activations, Livecards acknowledged the issue in 2023 and provided a replacement Office 2019 Pro Plus key, confirming by email that it included 4 activations. Years later, when I tried to clarify the status of those remaining activations, I was given multiple and contradictory explanations: * The product was out of warranty. * The replacement key was for a single activation only. * The key had already been used. * They no longer had access to the order because of a website migration. * The invoice and supporting documentation were not sufficient for verification. * The replacement key supposedly had to be redeemed within 14 days, although this condition does not appear in any invoice, order confirmation or email in my possession. I provided the original invoice, the original order confirmation and the complete email correspondence regarding the replacement licence. Despite this, no solution was offered. The final offer was a 2% discount code for a future purchase. My recommendation is simple: do not buy from this company. In my experience, they are happy to sell their products, but when issues arise regarding activations that have already been paid for, they do not honour what was originally offered by their own support team. Fortunately, I kept all invoices, order confirmations and emails. Without that documentation, it would have been impossible to reconstruct the history of the case.
