Happy and disappointed at the same time
I did buy a new screen during the World Championship Football 2026. I've already owned a Vividstorm screen (from 2019), and because I did buy a new projector I've also wanted a new screen. The quality of the screen itself is excellent, with the new projector the image is great. The problem is with the base. The base isn't straight al all. It's pretty tilted. When I extend the screen the left top of the screen was more then 5 cm more to the front then the right. I did try kestone correction, but the image was so distorted then, it was unwachable. I've talked to support about this. They did suggest to place a ring on the inside of the screen to adjust for the base being distorted. This helped to some extend. The screen is now still more forward on the left, but it's less then 2 cm. With a little keystone correction the image got more or less ok. But, I didn't pay for more or less ok. I still believe that the only option is to replace the base, but Vividstorm isn't willing to. I have to say that support was really trying to help out, but when there is an issue that can't be solved remotely, or without replacing, they have reported the issue to the quality control team. Yes, that's helpfull! As it's more or less ok now, I just let it be, but happy about it, I'm not...
