You get what you pay for (often not as cheap as you think)!

When my son came to me to ask me if I could buy some bracelets on his behalf for him and his girlfriend, as soon as I saw the item and price, I was a little dubious 🤨. They looked ‘ok’ in the pictures (as they always do!! NOT) but far be it from me to burst my son’s bubble and interfere. I guess the only way they will learn is to buy cheap, get stung and buy better next time. Anyway, to be fair, when they arrived (£6 postage!!!!) they did look ‘ok’ so gave them to him to wrap up ready for her birthday in a couple of weeks. He was sooo disappointed when the half-heart on each bracelet wouldn’t join. They were magnetised, but their polarities were the ‘same’. Two same poles repel so the full-heart shape wasn’t possible. I emailed them to ask about return/replacement but nothing for a few hours, not even an auto responder so contacted PayPal. Instant refund. No argument there but now he has only a few days to sort his girlfriend a gift. I don’t want an apology!! I want you to check your goods (and postage) before completing the order and sending out. Many of us are happy to buy cheaper Chinese (imported) goods but in time, if your quality checks are not more vigilant, local retailers will be getting your trade, even if yours is cheaper! So, check each item. Every item. Reduce your postage. You’ll make a killing. All the best for the future!
