My shopping experiences with TVC-Mall have ended with this latest transaction. I attempted to purchase a $15 item and because I wanted to ensure its delivery in time to use it for an upcoming trip, I was willing to pay $24 for expedited delivery. The site claimed 2-4 day delivery, this was later revised to 2-7 day during the subsequent "customer service" inquiry. The item was purchased on Oct 31 and I received a notice on Nov 3rd, that it was shipped via DHL. On Nov 11th, I received the following explanation: The order was shipped, also the shipping information is updated. As the item contains battery, it been held and return from HK custom. We resend again. Plz wait for few days. It's blooming months, the shipping a bit delay than nornal in shipping company. The DHL is in held of warehouse. Because over 800,000 parcels each day from our compant in checking . I received the item on Nov 13th and my attempt to recover the expedited shipping costs was unsuccessful. I will return the item (at additional expense) and wait, wait, wait for my refund...probably after "blooming months".
