Link to a phishing site where the tracking should be
I ordered an item and received confirmation of my order. Later, I received a notice that the order was being shipped. There was a tracking number in the email which I clicked on. It took me to a phishing site, blocked by malwarebytes. The shipping site was listed by name in the email, 17track, which I think is legit, but 17track says that shipping number has not been shipped even though it's been three days since I received the tracking number in the email. Update: I put in a fraud complaint with PayPal and the vendor sent me a new tracking number, which did correspond to an actual package which I did eventually receive. I added stars for that, but I still think the whole experience was a bit off. I’m pretty sure the item sent is a copy or forgery of the original, since I belatedly checked the website of the creator. They said they only sold the legit product at certain sites. But at least I got something. Buyer beware, I guess.
