I love the ice cold breeze from my portable mini air conditioner fan. However every 50 minutes the water tank runs out of water. Then the fan feels like it's just blowing hot air. So I have to keep topping up the tank. Plus the battery life only lasts around 3 hours, so not ideal for wall mounting unless you have a plug socket nearby to charge the mini air con fan. If you buy this beware you can't just leave it plugged in as long as you want as when the water is gone the cooling effect stops working. Not ideal if you wanted to go out for a while and leave your house nice and cool to come back too. Also not ideal for sleeping. I wanted to use this next to my bedside table but it won't keep going all night as after 50 minutes the tank will run out of water and you'll be hot again. I feel like the item is falsely advertised. There is no mention that the ice cooling effect only lasts 50 minutes at a time. Then you have to top up the water tank. Advert sounds like your room stays cool just from switching it on and leaving it on. But it's annoying every 50 minutes ice cold air stops because tank is empty. Then you have to stop whatever you're doing to go and refill the tank. In a photo a driver has the mini air con fan on his dashboard, but you would have to have loads of bottles of water in your car if out and about on a long journey, as you would need to keep refilling the air con tank every 50 minutes. Would also have to keep finding somewhere to stop your car so you can refill the air con tank. So not a very practical air con unit for long term use scenarios. The short lived 50 minutes you get of cold air before the water evaporates is lovely and ice cold. Cold air is as described.
