Slap handed, lackadaisical approach
I have finally received the funds from the sale of a property, 19 days after sale completion by Ross Coates. Apart from delays due to their incompetence in finalizing paperwork at date of completion and the fact that they simply sat on my money for a week, David Kreamer, Ross Coates’ accountant, clearly doesn’t know how to make international bank transfers. Despite me providing very clear details several times of my bank account references, he wasn’t capable of copying and pasting the full name of the account holder to his bank, almost resulting in my bank refusing the accept the funds because the names didn’t align. This is a small detail but shows the lackadaisical approach of Ross Coates to every part of the sale of my property. Do not appoint these charlatans as you run the risk of them making mistakes at every stage of the property buying or selling process! Hopefully they can now disappear under their provincial stone and I’ll never have to deal with them again!

INCOMPETENT CROOKS!
Truly the most incompetent solicitors I’ve ever had the misfortune to experience. Having completed the sale of my property on 20th February, I am still waiting to receive my money on 9th March, 17 days after the sale. It is criminal the way these charlatans are sitting on my money. DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR BUSINESS!

Ross Coates sit on clients money!
Ross Coates finalized the sale of my property on 20th February but today, 13 days later, I still have not received the funds from the sale. They are sitting on my money. No one answers phone calls or emails. Do not appoint these charlatans!

Appalling lack of service
We appointed Ross Coates to do the conveyancing of the sale of a property. They failed to pick up the phone continually when we called, failed to request documentation in a timely manner and have still failed to transfer the sale funds to us 10 days after completion. Either they are understaffed given that key staff leave at 3pm, incompetent or negligent. They may be cheaper than other solicitors but the saving is not worth the stress of working with them.
