I feel so let down by Jetpac
I feel so let down by Jetpac. A family member recommended it for my trip to Saudi, and at first I was impressed the eSIM purchase and setup were quick and easy. I thought I had everything sorted to stay in touch with my loved ones back in the UK. But when we arrived, reality hit. The network (Zain) gave me no signal at all. Not even a bar. We tried walking around, rebooting, everything nothing worked. Out of desperation, we even went into a Zain shop. The lady there was kind and tried her best, but she couldn’t get it working either. She suggested it might be an app issue, but that didn’t help. Meanwhile, my family back home were expecting to hear from me. I can’t explain how stressful it was being somewhere new, wanting that peace of mind and connection, but being completely cut off. In the end, I had to buy a physical SIM from another Saudi provider, which worked straight away. I preplanned everything so carefully, spent money in advance, and instead of peace of mind I ended up with wasted money, stress, and a nightmare of trying to sort it out while abroad. Honestly, I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this. Jetpac might look convenient, but for me it was the opposite unreliable and disappointing.
