Disappointing Magic Show
The setting at the Lord Baltimore Hotel was intimate and fitting. However, the magic show was a disappointment. Each performer only did one trick. Most of the tricks were good. They talked a while about their trick to fill the time but less talk and more tricks would have been so much better. The MC talked between each performer and did some magic. However, it was limited. The performer from NJ made a tasteless joke about the collapse of the Key Bridge. I know he was from out-of-town but it was insensitive and too soon. The price of the tickets was reasonable (which is why we gave it a try). However, for the cost of the ticket, expensive parking and the time, the very limited magic show was not a good buy.
