I feel completely misled by EWA’s…
I feel completely misled by EWA’s subscription system. I originally paid €39 for a 3-month EWA subscription. I was never clearly informed that there was supposedly another subscription connected to Paddle that would automatically renew for another €39. I never knowingly agreed to this. What makes the situation even more unbelievable is that before my original 3 months had even ended, EWA itself offered me a new 1-year subscription for €16.99. I accepted the offer and paid. My Apple account clearly shows that this subscription is valid until September 2027. So EWA was happy to sell me another subscription — while apparently also considering my previous subscription active and trying to charge me another €39 through Paddle. And then something went completely wrong: my paid Premium account simply disappeared. When I opened the app, my account had been reset to Basic, even though I had paid for a subscription valid until September 2027. I did NOT delete my account. I did NOT cancel my subscription. I contacted EWA several times and explained the situation, but after initially responding, they stopped answering. Honestly, it feels like the focus is on selling as many subscriptions as possible, while something has gone seriously wrong in the process — and instead of fixing it, they have simply left a paying customer without access to a subscription that Apple confirms is still active. I have screenshots proving both my active Apple subscription and my downgraded Basic account. I paid for a service and lost access to it. This is completely unacceptable.
