Faulty, disappointing product & customer service
I purchased the Black Obsidian Heroine & Herringbone Necklaces with the T-Bone bar, along with the Black Obsidian Flow & Stardust Rings. I'd saved for ages and was so excited when they arrived. I wore the Black Obsidian Heroine necklace for a week, the T-bone bar kept coming un-done. Unfortunately it came undone on my gravel drive way & the gemstone got scratched & damaged as I didn't feel the necklace fall off. I contacted customer services and they replied 'Upon reviewing the information, I would like to confirm that the t-lock is not defective, however, if the necklace fits a bit loosely, the t-lock may come undone more easily. This is not considered a defect, but rather a result of the fit and movement during wear. We usually recommend wrapping the T-lock through the O-ring twice. This method helps to secure the chain more firmly and minimizes the chance of it coming undone'. There wasn't a suggestion on the website at time of purchase, & still isn't with regards to putting the T-lock through the O-ring twice. Clearly there is a defect with the product if it doesn't stay in place. I left both necklaces in the jewellery box as 1 wasn't wearable anymore. Upon opening my box (that the necklace was sent it), the Herringbone necklace is all tarnished & I've never worn it. I loved my ring stack & this has lasted better but there is one of the prongs on the ring with the black obsidian gem that keeps moving and doesn't give me much hope that it will keep the gemstone in place for much longer. Disappointed is an understatement, both with the product & the lack of support from customer services. My necklace was under warranty, still is & they palmed me off with they don't deal with accidental damage. The damage wouldn't have happened if the T-lock actually did what it was meant to do.
