Perfidy, thy name is Pixlr
Okay, Pixlr, I have been a paying, loyal customer for years now. I have put up with your going from reasonable to greedy. I have put up with constant reshuffling of menus, hiding Features that used to be in plain sight, price increases and other ridiculousness from what started as a sensible and FREE alternative to Adobe's Photoshop. However, your latest bullshit is enough now - I'm working on a project which requires me to use pictures from the Walt Disney version of Alice in Wonderland. You have just flagged a still of the caterpillar smoking its hookah on a mushroom cap as "mature" and requiring a (naturally much more expensive, how else could it be?) "Ultra" subscription. Another still of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum brought up yet another insanely stupid "flagged" message. Have you been bought by Donald Trump or one of his moral-apostle cronies? Seems that way. You have just lost another long time, loyal subscriber. I will be publishing this content and findings at every opportunity with the intent of driving away as many customers from you as I can. You claim to want to work with serious artists and customers, but how can we when you have now become an absurd joke? Answer from Pixlr Support just received: "the AI recognition software interpreted the water pipe as a bong" and thus blocked it. "Use a different picture." No, I'll dump Pixlr for its moralistic concerns and go to Photopea - sad after more than 7 years as a paying customer, but c'est la vie. Au revoir, Pixlr Puritans
