Blackview BV9300 ABSOLUTELY NOT WATERPROOF
Blackview BV9300 I am impressed with this rugged smartphone. It offers everything I need as a builder. Sturdy, long battery life, good camera, sufficient memory and laser range finder. Bulky and heavy, but that doesn't bother me. What I don't like is its claim to be waterproof. It claims to be waterproof to a depth of 1.5m for 30 mins . This is FALSE. I used it for snorkeling one time. It was no more than 30cms underwater and for no longer than 10mins. It ceased to function afterwards. This was clearly due to being submerged. I read the conditions of guarantee and it states water damage is not covered. I unscrewed the back, and there was indeed water inside. I have now purchased the same phone as it ticks all the boxes for what I need, but DO NOT believe their claim that this phone is in any way waterproof.
