Swapping Chrome Fittings for Brass
I recently bought the Rangemaster Classic Deluxe Induction Range Cooker 110cm in Olive Green (CDL110EIOG/C). The colour is beautiful, but unfortunately Rangemaster has discontinued it and the only one I could find came with chrome fittings. I contacted Rangemaster to ask if it would be possible to swap the chrome fittings for brass ones and even offered to pay extra for this service. I was told this isn’t something they offer and that they wouldn’t recommend changing them. What surprised me most was being told that they receive many enquiries about this. If so many customers are asking for brass trim, it seems like a missed opportunity not to offer a factory swap or official trim kit. Great cooker, but disappointing lack of flexibility from Rangemaster when it comes to something that many customers clearly want. Further to your reply, you have only discontinued the colour of the rangemaster, not the entire model so your response is not relevant. Can you reply again please taking this into consideration.
