Left me in a lurch in Nicaragua
Fly Onward failed to provide tickets as promised, leaving me stranded in Nicaragua. I planned to fly from Nicaragua to Costa Rica and needed proof of onward travel so I "rented" a ticket and paid an extra $2 to have it delivered at noon a few days away. Four hours before the ticket was due to be delivered I got a nice email advising me my ticket would be issued in four hours, then nothing. Repeated emails and contact forms pleading for help went unanswered (and unanswered to this day). I then tried a second time, thinking the first one had been lost somehow. I got a confirmation email that the ticket was on its way but nothing came and no response from the company. I ended up getting an onward ticket in 15 minutes from a less-expensive competitor that I used to fly to Costa Rica. UPDATE: I disputed both payments with PayPal and received a refund from Paypal. It took about 3 weeks. Fly Onward never responded to Paypal.
