Can't Touch This. Don't know what it is.
I recently went into a Best Buy store here in Amherst New York to look at an electric bike. After giving my name to an individual in the front they said go wait by the bikes will send someone over. The bike my wife and I were interested in was the lectric XP4 750. The price for one of these bikes was $1299. The gentleman came over and I said my wife and I would like to look at this bike can you take it out of the rack so we can you know maybe sit on it and see what it feels like the gentleman was probably 19 years old and he said well we're not allowed to take it out of there it's bolted in. I said how am I supposed to look at the bicycle for even if I wanted to have it to sit on it he said all we can unbolt it. This makes absolutely no sense I wasted my time going in there and also I said to the young man you know it's too bad because my wife and I are going to buy two of these but now we're not going to buy them from you my wife and I did buy two of them online. I think if you're going to have these bikes in your store you better have somebody that's knowledgeable about them, because he definitely knew nothing about the bikes. Could tell us nothing about the bikes when I asked some questions. Best Buy just lost $2,900 in sales because they have items they know nothing about and customers cannot look at them except in a stand. Guess maybe another box store is going to go down for lack of customers.
