Beware of SCAMS, and Fruugo not responding at all
I did order insulation material, which happened to be a Chinese company. Fruugo gave me an expected delivery frame up to 7 weeks out. There was tracking provided claimed to be Chinal postal system which frankly didn't make sense. After the item didn't arrive, I contacted Fruugo twice by email, but no response was received. Then the tracking stated, "delivery was attempted." But it wasn't, and no notes were left. I went to US postal, and they identified it as a scam. It did not match China postal tracking, and it would have switched to US tracking. I was told that this is a common scam with Fruugo. They may also attempt to send a small parcel with old paper in, claiming the merchandise was delivered. Very disappointing that Fruugo was totally unresponsive to inquiries, and likely is aware of this scam. Filed a dispute with the credit card company. UPDATE: Fruugo has requested after this review details. Order # 227624346 . Tracking # provided China Post ZC48281931199. This was identified by US Post as not being a legitimate China Post tracking format, therefore, labeled it as scam. US Post partners with China Post and items would receive upon arrival a US tracking number. My biggest issue with Fruugo is that they were non responsive to 2 emails I sent. They have no phone support for US.
