Compassionate customer service
I have used chewy for years to order my dog food, supplies, and medications. I’ve always found them to be reasonably priced, and the service has been excellent. My dog just passed, and when I called to cancel all of my auto shipments, the staff was very kind and thoughtful. I asked if I could return an unopened bag of joint supplements and they told me that they would credit my account but rather than shipping it back to them, would I just please donate it to a local shelter or pet owner. This evening I received a lovely package from chewy with a card and a hand painted rock with my dog’s name on it. Really excellent customer service and such a thoughtful gesture. I think they really embody an understanding of what pets mean to people, and I was very touched by this gesture.
