dangerous paddle boards
I have had an irocker cruiser for 3 and a half years. I have used it 5 times only. On the last occasion whilst in use (and used correctly and kept in the shade, pumped up to the correct psi and had been pumped up for just over 12 hours only) it exploded at the seam. Incredibly dangerous. A huge safety issue and I wouldn’t trust anyone to use an irocker now. I was luckily not on my own this time so my friend could help me. Lucky it wasn’t a child. I’ve been told it’s out of warranty and it was my fault because it must have over heated. How can it overheat in the water whilst being used for 2 hours? Ive only ever used it in the north of England - I’ve seen paddle boards abroad in high temperatures which have managed absolutely fine and have been inflated for days!!!! Why did none of the other hundreds of paddle boards I saw on the lake over the weekend explode like mine? Surely there’s something wrong with mine? But they aren’t willing to accept any blame. I’m incredibly disappointed in this company and I would avoid at all costs as they clearly do not take safety seriously or respect their customers. These boards are not cheap and I feel like I’ve been robbed.
