SHEPHERDS BUSH DORSETT STAY AWAY
SHEPHERDS BUSH DORSETT STAY AWAY - be warned. If I could give a zero rating I would. Dreadful DREADFUL hotel ‘Management Team. My wife booked a 4-night stay as a surprise for me as I’m from London but not been back for years. First BIG mistake was booking through total SCAM company Algotels. Second BIG mistake was booking Dorsett Shepherds Bush hotel at all. Unfortunately 5 days before check in date (but 2 days after cancellation deadline) I became ill and was rushed to Hospital Emergency dept. My wife contacted the hotel & advised this in a mail she sent while waiting in Emergency Dept. She asked could she amend the dates instead of cancelling. The staff-member was initially very understanding and helpful - until Dorsett Hotel Management got involved later that is! We subsequently became aware that Algotels is a SCAM per several rip-off TripAdvisor reviews I wish we knew about before booking. Dorsett Shepherds Bush Management advise they can’t change the booking as it was booked through Algotels. When we tried to contact Algotels, it’s not possible to contact them at all. The ‘Contact us’ feature on their website doesn’t work. If you call, you get a recorded message just and the call is automatically terminated before you can speak to someone or leave a message. We’ve sent screenshots of PROOF that Algotels is SCAM to Dorsett Shepherds Bush Management and it’s impossible to contact them. Despite all the above, the hotel still holds the line that because the booking was made through Algotels they can’t (i.e. WON’T) change the booking and we have to go through Algotels - knowing it’s impossible do so! In summary - READ THIS AND OTHER DORSETT SHEPHERDS BUSH REVIEWS and DO NOT GO NEAR THE DORSETT SHEPHERDS BUSH HOTEL OR ALGOTELS.
