She will guide you and teach you with kindness and caring in her loving and assertive ways. I truly was amazed by her expansive knowledge base and highly recommended Cherlyn!!! Cheryln came into my life at such a needed time. I had spent four years off and on with a man who was emotionally unavailable, did not follow through with his word, our plans and emotionally abusive at times. During the last year of our relationship, he lived in my basement apt. It was very difficult to let go, his times of bread-crumbing and my false beliefs of..looking back at the good times and thinking I could get him back/change him...made it torturous at times. I knew I needed to get out and that’s when I found Cherlyn . Cheryln’s scope of expertise is so vast and helped me to learn: the first step to letting go was seeing that I needed to stop contact in which she was ok with tapering off for a short period before complete no contact, she also let me text her instead of him, Shame, why I feel it, why he does, how his shame storms will continue and makes his emotions difficult to process, turns into anger against me, how ultimately he is fundamentally flawed, incapable of love, belonging and beyond what I can handle, I deserve happiness. She helped me to see that I can not change him and only he can change with major active therapy that he would be willing to get and even then the odds are not good. She helped me to see that I deserve so much better and that I should not give him anymore of the one thing that we will never get back, time. I learned about narcissism, personality disorders, stopping the toxic relationship and cycle of pain, the four horseman of relationships, healing myself, hypnosis, positive mantras, handling grief, steps towards healing meditation, reverse recovery, finding my identity again, matrix reimprinting and more. From healing, she helped hold my hand and guide me through the dating process where I learned about personality traits, what to look for and avoid, how to sort out the red flags verses things to make note of, how to date, when to let go (this was difficult) to avoid wasting more time, directed me through some crazy dating situations and pushed me along yet stepped back to allow me to work things out and make my own decisions. Since I’ve been with Cherlyn, I’ve sorted through several dates and now have been dating a really kind, sweet, passionate, adventurous and loving guy for two months. I know we have a ways to go but I have high hopes and see such potential.
