Deceptive marketing tactics by Indigo
I got a promotional email from Indigo on August 13th with the title "Happy Independence Day Sale 13th - 16th August 2026" that promoted "Up to 20% off on flight booking" for "Travel period: 16th August 2026 - 31st October 2026" with "Use code: INDIGO80". I tried to book at ticket from Chennai to Hyderabad on August 13th for travel date of August 21st using the code. Indigo website did not allow the code with the message "Offer Application Failed - Please try applying a different offer or continue without applying any offer": essentially was forcing me to pay the full price. I decided to purchase ticket through a 3rd party.
