Happy with the end result
Bought a Mavic Pro few weeks ago, It was actually my first drone and I can't tell you how excited I was once it arrived. I tried a couple of flights with it for the first week, but one time I was trying to fly it through a tree in order to capture the stunning sunset view, my mavic clipped a tree branch on 15ft and fell straight down to the ground. It directely got the gimbal overload error, and the right landing gear was damaged. Then I contacted dji support and told them every detail of the flight I can recall. I was expecting that they could give me some other options instead of sending it back to China for repair...But it's probably too damaged, send in was the only choice I got. I didn't buy any dji care plan, but luckily the repair fee was not that high and they got it repaired and mailed back to me within 12 days. I was thrilled to see my mavic back in the air, and will definitly to be careful while flying it.
