A consistently available IPA option would be nice....
I would gladly give a 4-star rating if there was a consistent IPA (beer) option inside Big Pines Base Lodge (either in the cooler with the other canned beer or on tap at The Fix). Traditionally, IPAs have only been available at the Foggy Goggle* but, unfortunately, they proved highly unreliable this year when it came to beer (as an outdoor bar at a ski resort, one might reasonably assume that they would've figured out how to keep the "kegs from freezing up" by now but, no, it doesn't appear as though they have). *the Bullwheel might also have an IPA option or two but, frankly, I'd rather go out to my car than hike up there just for a beer. p.s., this is my one and only gripe, and it shouldn't overshadow everything that I do like about Mountain High. For instance, the women over at the Customer Service shed are great! Really friendly and helpful (5 stars)!
