Worthless Warranty
Purchased “Diamond Premier” plan in April 2016, which was their highest level of coverage. Needed a covered repair in April 2018. They accepted the claim, however only agreed to cover a fraction of the cost even though it was a fully covered repair – so I paid over $1700 out of pocket. When the repair shop attempted to get paid for the approved claim amount, they were constantly given the run around, until the repair shop eventually insisted I pay the remaining balance out of my own pocket. At this point, I began calling Delta Auto Protect myself and talked to Aaron and Marie several times. Both of them told me that a check would be sent and received within 10 business days. This happened over 5 times. I also left voice mails and sent emails with the same run around. Claim was submitted on April 24th, it is now July 31st, and still have not received reimbursement for my claim. The warranty is completely worthless, as they do not pay the claims, and if they eventually do (based on complaints I’ve seen on the Better Business Bureau site) it is after the same exhausting run around that I have gone through, and only after reporting to BBB, which I am doing next.
