I never gave consent for GearUP to contact me
I never gave consent for GearUP to contact me with marketing in the first place. When I made it clear that I did not want any further contact, they still sent me another promotional email offering me a membership code. So apparently, **“I don't want to be contacted” isn't enough.** I find this completely unacceptable. I shouldn't have to repeatedly tell a company to stop contacting me when I never asked to receive their marketing communications to begin with. I have now formally requested that my details are removed from their marketing lists and that they stop contacting me.
