Brand Tarnished!
Booked weeks ahead at over $6,000 a night. Hotel emailed the night before saying they weren’t ready and canceled. Still received a confirmation the next morning. Arrived at the gate. Security knew my name, claimed no reservation, refused to get a manager, then called the police on me. Military police stopped us on the way out. I have stayed at multiple Amans and never experienced anything close to this level of incompetence and hostility. Treating a confirmed, polite guest like a criminal on day two of opening is inexcusable. Do not stay here.
