Extremely Disappointed With the Airline and Its Cabin Crew
I travelled on three separate sectors—Hyderabad to Chennai, Hyderabad to Puducherry, and Mumbai to Hyderabad—and unfortunately, the cabin-crew experience was consistently poor on all three flights. There was no personal dispute or argument, but the general attitude of the crew was dismissive, unfriendly and lacking basic courtesy. On one occasion, a crew member handed me a small bottle of water in a manner that felt almost as though it was being thrown at me. Passengers should never be made to feel like cattle simply because they are travelling on a budget airline. Budget pricing does not excuse poor behaviour. Courtesy, professionalism and hospitality cost nothing. Cabin crew are the public face of an airline, and airlines and travel services are often among the first impressions visitors form of a country. India is a nation with a proud tradition of hospitality, generosity and respect for guests. It is deeply disappointing to see that legacy undermined by poorly trained staff and an airline culture that appears to tolerate such behaviour. If an airline has been allowed to dominate important domestic routes, it carries an even greater responsibility to treat passengers properly rather than taking them for granted. The management must seriously review how its cabin crew are recruited, trained and supervised. India aspires to be a global superpower, but that ambition must also be reflected in the attitude, professionalism and service standards experienced by ordinary travellers. Extremely disappointing.
