NIU

I have been owning the NIU MQi Sport…

I have been owning the NIU MQi Sport scooter for less than 3 years now. When it costs approx. £4000. The last year/two years caused a lot of headaches and lot of lost money trying to fix issues. It has not even 9000 miles on. Few times it put me serious danger as it's stoped running in the middle of busy A road with one of their many of their random Errors. It could end up with me being killed few times. Now it's finally dead as it seems : Error 142, after changing two sensors, the whole throttle switches and handles, to fix this issue. The service guys said to get rid of it, that it is for scrap. They have mentioned the nain CPU is dead and need replacing , new one cost £500 + labour. They have seen many of these ending like this with all the errors possible that eventually newer could be fixed. Unfortunately there will not be alot of metal for scrap as its rusting away like car from 80's The customers helpline, is useless as they always advise to take the scooter to service at the end. Don't get me started on trying to connect the scooter with their tracking app. It took months of correspondence with the office, back and forth trying numerous things until I have finally gave up. The issue was reported to their customers service team, and they have not bothered to even respond to my email and accusations of selling products not fit for purpose. How does the company to be allowed to put on the road life threatening products. Putting people's life in danger because they produce horrible and always malfunctioning vehicles. I am considering putting this scham of a company out there to prosecute them.
