ONYX BOOX

BOOX Violates UK Consumer Laws – Avoid This Company

Please read this review carefully and compare it to BOOX’s return policies. As a UK customer, I encountered systematic issues that violate UK consumer rights: Unlawful Deductions: BOOX charges for delivery “back and forth” and imposes a €20 ‘receipt charge’, which are illegal under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Sellers are legally required to refund the full purchase price and original delivery costs when goods are returned within 14 days. Withholding Return Label: BOOX refuses to issue a return label unless customers agree to these unlawful fees, creating unnecessary barriers. This breaches the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Low-Quality Product: The product failed to meet basic expectations and does not comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires goods to be fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. BOOX’s practices are unfair, non-compliant, and systematically target consumers. I’ve provided photos, videos, and proof of these issues, yet the company continues to evade responsibility. UK consumers: avoid BOOX. If you encounter similar problems, escalate to your credit card provider or Trading Standards for support.
