Over 1 month and 20 days — no product, no refund, unacceptable handling
I ordered from GMKtec on 1 April and paid £529.99 for order GMKUK1014. It has now been over 1 month and 20 days, and I still have no product and no refund. The parcel was never delivered to my address. FedEx marked it as “delivered”, but the proof-of-delivery photo showed a different building. I provided evidence showing my actual building and the separate building where the parcel was left. Instead of taking responsibility, GMKtec relied on the “delivered” tracking status, pushed me to deal with FedEx myself, and asked me to cancel/withdraw the PayPal dispute before refunding me. FedEx later confirmed a case and confirmed the sender would be refunded. GMKtec then admitted FedEx approved compensation and that they were eligible to process my refund. Despite this, they still allowed PayPal to rely on the position that the order had been delivered. Most of my communication has been with Cindy from GMKtec. The replies have been vague: no clear refund date, no transaction reference, no proof the refund has been sent, and no proper apology. GMKtec told me the refund was expected within 48 hours. It has now been 4 days since that message, and I still have no refund. This has been an appalling experience: poor communication, repeated delays, pressure to cancel the PayPal dispute, and no accountability after a failed delivery. I would not recommend buying from GMKtec unless you are prepared for a long and stressful dispute if anything goes wrong.
